Our
Indoor Air Quality Department provides Professional Duct Cleaning
& Sanitization. Not all duct cleaning service providers are
equally knowledgeable and responsible. We are supported by qualified,
trained technicians who follow U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) recommendations when cleaning and sanitizing your duct system.
We
do heat exchanger cleaning and duct cleaning for both residential
and commercial customers. In addition to duct cleaning, we also
offer a variety of products, such as electronic air cleaners and
UV light air purification systems, to keep your indoor air as
clean and healthy as possible.
Duct
cleaning is especially important if:
-
Anyone
in your home or office suffers from allergies, asthma, or other
respiratory problems
-
Anyone
in your personal or professional family suffers from headaches,
nasal congestion, or other sinus problems at night or in the
morning
-
There
are smokers in the home or business
-
You
have dogs, cats or other pets in your home
-
You
notice "musty" or "stale" odors when the
furnace or air conditioner runs
-
Your
furnace is equipped only with a standard throw-away fiberglass
filter.
Why
is duct cleaning necessary?
Mold...bacteria...dust
mites...pet dander. Eighty-seven percent of American homeowners
aren't aware that pollution may be worse inside their home than
outdoors, according to a survey released by the American Lung Association.
These pollution problems generate from literally hundreds of sources,
including the ones just mentioned. Your forced air heating, ventilating
and air conditioning (HVAC) system is the transportation vehicle
for spreading these contaminants throughout your ductwork and ultimately
into your home. If moisture is present, the potential for microbiological
growth (mold) is increased and spores from such growth may be released
into the home's living space. Some of these contaminants may cause
allergic reactions or other symptoms in people if they are exposed
to them. To make sure you and your family are breathing the healthiest,
freshest indoor air possible, we recommend complete air duct cleaning
at least once every three years (possibly more often if any members
of your family have allergies or asthma). About 99.97% of the contaminants
that are dislodged are captured by our system and removed. Afterwards,
the exhaust put back into your home is clean enough to meet surgical
standards.
